Griffith ROBERTS [was] affectionately known in the family as ‘snooks’…….Griff, …did nothing to harm anyone, was a chain smoker, outlived his wife Mary known as ‘Polly’ by twenty three years, he was in the Royal Garrison Artillery during WW1, but never left the country, they had no children.5
