Has it really been eight years? I plead ill health (including a heart transplant) and other projects. Stalbridge Weston Manor looks at the history of a small Dorset manor through documents from Saxon times to the mid-eighteenth century, and it’s taken three of us quite a lot of time. And I’m also working on a Lichfield Memorial project, researching the life stories of about 350 men named on the First World War memorials in that small English city. But I hope to fit in more work on my own family history too – AI now makes it possible to do more work with the same amount of time. So watch this space (but not too intently).
